ALL. THE. FEELS. (and early praise!)

by Elizabeth

Yep, that’s how I’m feeling with the impending release of my next book Sacred Celebrations: Designing Rituals to Navigate Life’s Milestone Transitions on Tuesday, November 14th.

Just like the transitions that I write about in my book – having a baby, moving, getting married, burying a loved one, starting a business, getting divorced…all of these experiences come with a “wide” variety of emotions…excitement, joy, fear, curiosity, anxiety, vulnerability… sometimes all at once!

Just even writing “next” book feels surreal. Now that I have authored TWO books, does that make me a “real” author? According to these folks, the answer is YES! 😊

Advanced praise for Sacred Celebrations

“In a world where most of us are living our lives at 100 MPH, Elizabeth
reminds us to slow down and honor the sacred transitions in our lives.”

– Colleen O’Grady, psychotherapist, life coach and author

“… stands out as a beacon of truth and inspiration.”
– Dr. Sarah Long, author and writing professor

“I recommend this book for any coach, counselor or healer that wants
to take their work to a deeper level with their clients.”

– Dr. Shannon South, therapist and author

“…refreshing, insightful and indispensable.”
– Lis Anna-Langston, author

I must admit, the fact that this second book is much longer, has a lot more research, took me six years to bring to the world and is going to be a print book which you can hold in your hands, underline, dogear and keep on your shelf as a reference book…well, it does make me feel pretty proud!

It’s human nature to think,

“Am I good enough?”
“Is this work legitimate?”
“Are my thoughts valid?”
“What do I have to contribute on the topic that others haven’t already shared?”

I bet you can relate. If you’ve given birth to any creative project, like performing in a play, having a gallery opening, doing a poetry reading or performing at an open mic night, then you know what I’m talking about!

But here’s the thing…our work matters. Our creative endeavors make a difference.

And when we are vulnerable, when we open ourselves up with authenticity and truth, that’s where connection happens. That’s the doorway for magic and meaning to enter our lives.

That’s my wish for you…more magic and meaning in your life! And learning how to incorporate Sacred Celebrations in your life will do just that!

I’d love your support! If you’d like to pre-order, you have a few options.

Pre-order now – Kindle version will be delivered to your kindle on November 14th
Pre-order now – Paperback through my publisher will be mailed to you

Or, if you’d rather order directly from Amazon, Barnes and Noble or your local indie bookstore, I’ll love having your support on Tuesday, November 14th. (I’ll remind you and send links then!)

Over the next few weeks, you’ll be hearing from me more often than usual. I hope you can ride the wave of excitement with me and allow it to spill over into your life—what exciting creative projects are YOU working on? Leave a comment and let me know—I’d love to hear about it!
