What Do You Need to Get Revitalized?

The end of the school year tends to be a blur for working parents of school aged children.

May is insane and by the time we get to June, we’re all a bit bleary eyed and worn out!

Last week was no exception for me.

In addition to Riley graduating from 8th grade, (Woo-hoo! We survived the middle school years!), I also delivered my keynote speech Finding Solid Ground: Rediscovering Your Strength in the Midst of Life’s Storms at the Country Club of Asheville to a group of 65+ professional and entrepreneurial women for the inspirational organization the Power of Women. It was wonderfully received, and I came home exhausted.

As a true extrovert, I get fueled and fired up by being in an electric room connecting with others.

But as I’ve grown older, I also know the wisdom of taking time to rebalance and reground myself.

So, I took a hike!
