Five Reflection Questions from Sacred Celebrations

by Elizabeth

We are full swing in the holiday season here in the United States. It can be a busy time filled with community events and family gatherings but it’s also a time to be grateful, a time to slow down, a time to savor a special meal with friends and family, a time to reflect. And if you’re lucky, maybe take a few days off of work.

Regardless of who you spend your holiday season with, I hope you will take time to review the year and count your blessings. Here are some questions for self-reflection for your own Sacred Celebration– discuss them around the dinner table or write them out in your journal.

  1. What have you learned about yourself this year?
  2. What has changed about yourself, your family, your home, your work that you could not have imagined a year ago?
  3. What are the challenges that still lie ahead?
  4. What are the big things & what are the little things you are grateful for?
  5. As you look ahead to the holiday season, how will you spread your appreciation to others (family, friends, clients, colleagues)?

Despite the upside-down nature of these past two years, I have a long list of things to be grateful for including….

My family and friends. I’m blessed to have a huge family and even more friends who live all over the country (and world!) They keep me grounded and sane when things get topsy-turvy and keep me laughing when all I want to do is cry (we’ve all had moments like that these past two years, eh?)

My new website. I’m expanding my offerings to include the Sacred Celebrations Gift line. Check out the beautiful bracelets and custom gift boxes sure to please any recipient!

YOU! Thank you for being part of my community, whether you’ve joined me recently or have been with me since the beginning in 2000! My life and work are greatly enriched by the clients, colleagues and people I’ve had the privilege of serving over the years. If we’re not already hanging out together on social media, please join my Facebook group or follow me on Instagram.

Happy Holiday Season to you and yours!
