10 Questions to Review Your Year

by Elizabeth

Are you ready to say good-bye to 2020? I don’t know many people who aren’t! 2020 turned out to be an insanely challenging year for many but there have also been opportunities for embracing personal growth, pivoting in business, developing resilience and clarifying values. We’ve all been living our own versions of it…and it’s been harder for some than others. If you have things to be grateful for, I trust you are counting your blessings.

The week between Christmas and New Year’s is always a wonderful time to review your year, but especially this year—celebrate the highlights, learn from the lowlights and then say “bye-bye” and leave it all in the dust as the clock strikes midnight and you get to start all over again. It’s easy to focus on the challenges but it’s just as important to focus on the positives that have come from this time.

Here are a few questions that I invite you to consider as we embark on the New Year. You may want to pull out your journal and write down your observations or print this out and discuss with your partner, children, or best friend. Or, if you have one of my Sacred Celebrations House Blessing Kits, you can incorporate these into a House Blessing that you do with your family sometime around the New Year. (Doesn’t have to be on December 31st!)

Thank you for being part of my community and for your support over this past year as my family has made a major life change with our move from Texas to North Carolina. My sweet husband has officially moved here with us and our transition is complete. We are grateful to be together and look forward to 2021 with optimism and hope.

Happy New Year to you and yours! May 2021 bring abundant blessings for all!
